Brenbeal Children’s Centre provides a Long Day Care program that caters for children from 6 months old to Kindergarten (Sessional and Integrated Kindergarten).
Children are placed in rooms according to their age and developmental needs. Children may transition up a room during the year if a space becomes available and if the child is ready. This happens in consultation with staff, families, and children.
Our highly experienced and dedicated team of educators and carers provide children and families with a safe, happy, and nurturing environment. We provide a wide range of learning experiences to enhance children’s development. Cooking is one of our favourites! We even made a cookbook called Brenbeal Kids in the Kitchen as shown in this video.
The National Quality Framework for Early Childhood Education and Care require the following child/staff ratios:
- 1 educator for every 4 children under 3 yrs.
- 1 educator for every 11 children over 3 yrs.
We are pleased that Brenbeal exceeds these minimum requirements to ensure children are well-supported during their days at Brenbeal.
