At Brenbeal we see ourselves as part of a big community, actively seeking ways to connect with organisations beyond the walls of the centre. Linda and Angela, our 4 year old Kindergarten teachers are excited to be connecting with Victoria University, mentoring some of their students (pre-service teachers).
VU Play is an innovative program, which sees Early Childhood students organise Pop Up Play times for the local community. Students gather up an assortment of intriguing loose parts and present them for children to explore. Linda and Angela have been teaching mentoring the pre-service teachers, showing them how to use incorporate and use loose parts as part of play based learning.
